Our 3 year old is now officially 100% potty trained!!
Life couldn’t be better…well….maybe when our 1 yea old is out of diapers too.
Let me start by saying that my very first computer-related job was found in a Compuserv forum.
As of 8:01pm (EST) on Wednesday,
Eric Sink rules.
While I try to stay away from politics, this is a great post.
John Kerry should STFU about being a hero.
This is a quote from the article:
”Says a programmer on Slashdot.org who outsourced his job: “About a year ago I hired a developer in India to do my job. I pay him $12,000 out of the $67,000 I get. He’s happy to have the work. I’m happy that I have to work only 90 minutes a day just supervising the code. My employer thinks I’m telecommuting. Now I’m considering getting a second job and doing the same thing.””
So, I’m working on a data import program that deals with a couple dozen files, all fixed width.
A few years ago, I wrote a backup program for internal use.
